Zelenskyi’s Office: we don’t need a referendum yet

An All-Ukrainian referendum is not needed at the moment.

The adviser to the Head of Office of the President, the adviser of the Ukrainian delegation in TCG Oleksii Arestovych stated it, Ukraine 24 reports.

Arestovych answered the question of what event could affect the referendum.

"Two meetings: Biden with Putin and Putin with Zelenskyi, if it happens. Further events in Belarus, whether it will be absorbed by Russia. How the Belarusian-Russian West-2021 military exercises will take place, currently being prepared. Elections to the State Duma of the Russian Federation. Merkel's replacement on the post and the struggle of France and Germany for leadership in Europe. There are so many events until October 2021 in and around Ukraine that there should be no referendum before that. And after analyzing the situation, a new decision will be made," he said.

Earlier, Zelenskyi's Office stated in which case a referendum on Donbas would be held.
