Authorities plan to launch "vaccination passports" for Ukrainians from July 1.
The Office of the President announced this, Rubryka reports.
At a meeting on May 24, President Volodymyr Zelenskyi inquired about preparing "vaccination passports."
Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov said that it was planned to launch them from July 1, synchronizing it with the relevant processes in the European Union.
As reported by Rubryka, the EU is preparing to open its borders to tourists and requires other countries to issue their vaccination certificates under the same requirements that apply to its passports.
The Ukrainian Ministry of Health noted that "vaccination passports" confirming coronavirus vaccination could be introduced in Ukraine from July 1.
So far, the working name of the document is a covid certificate.
