Zelenskyi states what his decision to run for a second term would depend on
The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi believes that it is too early to say whether he will run in the next presidential election.
He stated this on May 20 at a press conference following the results of two years of his work.
"It's too early to answer," he said.
Later, Zelenskyi clarified that this issue wasn't on time now, because not even half of the first term has passed.
"It will depend a lot on the percentage of things I promised and didn't do… It depends on my family. For me, it stands next to Ukraine," the president explained.
In addition, he added that each president should be better than the previous one.
Zelenskyi also believes that the "era of corruption" is ending.
According to him, he seeks to build a dream country without oligarchs, where everyone will be equal before the law.
