The Russians are constantly provoking the Armed Forces of Ukraine, at sea in particular.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel-General Ruslan Khomchak, said this at a press conference within the All-Ukrainian Forum "Ukraine 30," Ukrinform reports.

"The Russians are constantly provoking us, in particular regarding the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea. Starting from the fact that they're massively blocking areas for navigation under the guise of exercises, and combat shootings. In the Sea of Azov, they want to show that it's their inland sea," he said.

The naval forces of the Armed Forces have the right to respond to provocations in full.

"The only thing we do is we never provoke Russians or anyone in the Black or Azov Seas to take any active action, let alone use force. But we're ready to use weapons," Khomchak said.

At the same time, he noted everyone should understand that the capabilities of our Navy and the Russian Navy are currently disproportionate.

According to him, the Ukrainian Navy is currently being actively developed, both bases and ships, helped by our partners, in particular, the United States and Great Britain.
