Ukraine can expect more than one wave of coronavirus, experts say

More than one wave of coronavirus is awaiting Ukraine due to the low level of vaccination of citizens.
The president of the "Ukrainian Medical Club" NGO Ivan Soroka expressed this opinion on the air of Ukraine 24, Ukrinform reports.
"Ukrainians haven't formed a collective immunity. We'll expect more than one wave of COVID-19 in Ukraine because numerous citizens haven't been vaccinated, many people haven't fallen ill," Soroka said.
He notes that an increase in the number of coronavirus patients is likely to be observed after the May holidays. In addition, Soroka suggested that the next waves of the disease can be expected in late summer or early autumn.
"Until most Ukrainians receive immunization, we'll have such surges," said the president of the Ukrainian Medical Club.
He called on Ukrainians to vaccinate as soon as possible. According to him, vaccination will save health and life.
