Yermak: The U.S. has once again confirmed that they're a strategic partner of Ukraine

Andrii Yermak, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, believes that the United States' support for Ukraine's aspirations for a NATO Membership Action Plan (MAP) is another indication of the strategic partnership between the two countries.

The press service of the President's Office reports.

"Today we have received another confirmation of the United States' full support for Ukraine's MAP. But the Alliance has many members, so the work continues. The United States has reaffirmed that it is our strategic partner that supports Ukraine's accession to NATO," US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said after the meeting with Volodymyr Zelenskyi on Thursday in Kyiv.

Andrii Yermak noted that the Ukrainian and American parties were discussing various formats of cooperation to strengthen security in the Black Sea, including geopolitical and military ones.

The Head of the Office also said that the next meeting of political advisers to the leaders of the Normandy format member states could take place in May and take place in person.

Earlier, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi held a meeting with the Secretary of State of the United States of America Antony Blinken.
