US Secretary of State's visit to Ukraine: schedule of meetings and events

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken will hold a series of meetings with top Ukrainian officials and public figures in Kyiv today, May 6.

This is stated in the official program of the visit, published by the US Embassy in Ukraine.

In particular, the US Secretary of State has the following meetings scheduled for Thursday, May 6:

9:40, Blinken has a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba.

10:10, the US Secretary of State together with the Foreign Minister and Metropolitan Epiphanius will take part in laying flowers to the memorial of the Donbas conflict in Kyiv.

10:20, Blinken with Metropolitan Epiphanius will visit St. Michael's Monastery.

10:45, Blinken meets with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi.

11:55, Blinken will hold a joint press conference with the President of Ukraine.

12:30, the US Secretary of State will meet with the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal.

15:25, Blinken will take part in a virtual round table on reforms/anti-corruption.

16:15, the official will take part in a virtual meeting with the staff and families of the US Embassy in Kyiv.

According to the State Department, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken will visit Ukraine "to emphasize the United States' unwavering support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity amid Russia's ongoing aggression."
