G7 ambassadors say Naftogaz management should be "free from political interference"
The G7 ambassadors commented on Andrii Koboliev being dismissed from the position of the Chairperson of the Board of the National Joint-Stock Company "Naftogaz of Ukraine."
This became known from the page of the British presidency in the group of G7 ambassadors on Twitter.

"G7 Ambassadors note the Cabinet of Ministers' decision to dismiss the CEO & supervisory board of Naftogaz. Effective management and governance of SOEs in Ukraine, free from political interference, is crucial to Ukraine's competitiveness, prosperity, and Ukraine fulfilling its international commitments," he statement said.
As Rubryka reported, on April 28, the people's deputy from the "Servant of the People" party wrote that the Cabinet of Ministers dismissed the chairperson of "Naftogaz Ukraine" Koboliev.
The media immediately reported that Yurii Vitrenko would become the new head of Naftogaz.
At the same time, Andrii Koboliev said that he had learned about the dismissal from the news.
In the United States, given the changes in the management of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine, it was stated that trust in Ukraine depends on compliance with the principles of corporate governance, transparency, and integrity in appointing personnel in the energy sector.
