Minsk agreements have many traps for Ukraine - Kuleba
The Minsk agreements on Donbas are not ideal for Ukraine and contain many loopholes and traps. At the same time, Russia isn't doing anything to fulfill the agreements.
Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba stated this on the BBC HARDtalk program.
"I don't think that the Minsk agreements are an ideal thing for Ukraine, they have many loopholes, gaps, and traps for Ukraine. But the document has been signed, we must follow the logic of this document and implement it," Kuleba said.
According to the Minister, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi stresses that when Russia only accuses Ukraine of not fulfilling "Minsk" but does nothing to start fulfilling it, "we must start a conversation about who really cares about these agreements and wants them to be a roadmap for a settlement."
Kuleba also added that the Minsk agreements had two components, political and security issues, and we should start with the latter, namely, the ceasefire.
