Kyiv extends lockdown until April 30
Kyiv has extended the lockdown after April 16; it will be active at least until April 30.
The capital's mayor Vitalii Klychko reported.
"This morning, the city's emergency commission decided to extend the strict restrictive measures in Kyiv for two weeks, i.e. until April 30. We have no other choice. Otherwise, the medical system will not cope with numerous patients. Otherwise, there'll be even more deaths. Therefore, the previously introduced restrictions will apply in the city until April 30," Klychko said.
Yes, public transport will continue to operate on special permits: only employees of critical infrastructure enterprises are transported.
Schools and kindergartens remain closed, and food fairs will not be open.
Employers are encouraged to arrange remote work for employees or, if possible, to provide leave.
