Klychko intends to expand benefits for small and medium-sized businesses in Kyiv

Klychko will present a draft on expanding benefits for small and medium-sized businesses in the capital at the next session of the Kyiv City Council.

The Kyiv mayor reported about it on Telegram.

According to him, the expansion of benefits will include:

• Reducing the size of equity participation from the current 50% to 1 hryvnia in the maintenance of facilities by the owners of food venues. Catering areas near inpatient facilities and seasonal and summer areas. Such support will not only reduce the financial burden on businesses but also save jobs.
• Increasing the amount of financial and credit support for small and medium enterprises. Interest compensation not only for loans that the city introduced a year ago but also for "credit lines." And also, expanding the list of small and medium-sized businesses that are entitled to such compensation. And increasing the number of partner banks in this program.
• Reducing the fee for placing outdoor advertising and advertising on public transport to 50%.

He also noted that from April 5 until the end of strict restrictions, car owners in Kyiv were exempt from paying for parking on the sites of "Kyivtransparkservis" public utility company.

"We understand that by introducing such benefits, both for business and for Kyiv residents in general, the city won't receive much money in the budget. But we're going for it because we understand how difficult it is today to keep business alive and for people to survive," Klychko said.

The situation in Kyiv is stably difficult; 1164 cases of a coronavirus were confirmed in the last days in the capital, 46 people died.
