Rada collects signatures for holding an extraordinary meeting due to events in eastern Ukraine
People's deputies collected more than 150 signatures for another extraordinary meeting of the Verkhovna Rada to approve an appeal to international organizations and foreign states in connection with the death of four servicemen in eastern Ukraine.
The People's Deputy from the "Servant of the People" faction Oleksii Ustenko stated this, Ukrinform reports.
"Yes, more than 150 signatures were collected," the deputy said.
They expect the order to hold the meeting to be issued after 13.00.
They plan that during this meeting, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Ruslan Khomchak will make a statement and appeal to foreign states and international organizations to increase pressure on Russia in connection with the death of four servicemen of the Armed Forces.
As Rubryka reported, on March 26, occupants fired 82-caliber mortars and other weapons at Joint Forces positions near Shumy. As a result of enemy shelling, four servicemen were killed and two were wounded.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyi said he would hold talks with all the Normandy 4 leaders.
