Stepanov names terms of new COVID-19 vaccine deliveries to Ukraine
Ukraine expects to receive the first batches of AstraZeneca and Pfizer coronavirus vaccines under the COVAX program by April 15.
The Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov told about it on the air of the Ukraine 24 TV channel.
"This is the first COVAX delivery we expect. To be precise, we expect 360,000 doses of AstraZeneca and 117,000 doses of Pfizer by April 15. It's the information we have from COVAX that the first delivery should be in this amount, and in the next 2-3 weeks," the minister said.
Earlier it became known that the Ministry of Health was negotiating direct contracts for the purchase of vaccines, which would allow vaccination to cover as many Ukrainians as possible.
As reported by Rubryka, New York State has introduced the first "vaccination passports" that will allow people who've been vaccinated against coronavirus to travel around the country and attend mass events.
It also became known that a single health certificate for citizens of all 27 countries of the European Union will be available from June 15. The document will contain information on vaccination against COVID-19.
