At the next TCG meeting, Ukraine will insist on returning ceasefire

At the regular meeting of the TCG on March 31, Ukraine will focus on returning to the parties' strict compliance with a full ceasefire in the conflict zone in the east of our country.

The Ukrainian delegation announced this on Facebook.

"Regular meetings of the Trilateral Contact Group by video conference are scheduled as follows: March 30, video conferences of working groups on security, political issues, humanitarian working group, economic working group. March 31, video conference of the general meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group," the statement said.

The Ukrainian delegation informed that the agenda included issues of ceasefire violations by Russian armed forces, implementation of the Minsk agreements and the results of the Paris Summit, security in the conflict zone, compliance with the ceasefire, further development of a joint action plan, and others.

The Ukrainian delegations reminded the consultations were underway at the level of political advisers to the Normandy 4 leaders, the aim of which is to return to a full ceasefire.

On behalf of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ruslan Khomchak is conducting a corresponding investigation into the death of Ukrainian servicemen near the village of Shumy on March 26.

"Our main efforts are focused on returning to strict adherence to the full ceasefire. Ukraine's international partners support this direction of our policy," the Ukrainian delegation said.

As reported by Rubryka, on March 26, the armed forces of the Russian Federation violated the ceasefire again and targeted the positions of Ukrainian defenders with 82-mm mortars, automatic grenade launchers, and large-caliber machine guns prohibited by the Minsk agreements near the town of Shumy in the area of the operational and tactical group "Pivnich."

The shelling resulted in four servicemen of Joint Operation Forces being killed and two being injured.
