In the Odesa region, outside the military unit, a contract servicewoman died during off-duty hours.

The command of the Medical Forces of the Armed Forces reports.

"Suddenly, the contract servicewoman lost consciousness. The officers immediately called an ambulance and notified the military's medical service. Upon arrival at the scene, military and civilian medics carried out resuscitation measures, which, unfortunately, were unsuccessful," the message reads.

It's noted that the woman was soon to be involved in combat missions in JFO, so on March 21, she was vaccinated against COVID-19. The vaccination was carried out by a mobile immunization team from the Department of Health of the Odesa Regional State Administration, which has been working since the beginning of vaccination and has gained experience.

"According to the head of the medical service of the military unit where she served, as of the morning of March 23, the woman didn't complain about her health. From the anamnesis, she suffered from hypertension," the statement said.

The Command of the Medical Forces of the Armed Forces expressed its sincere condolences to the family and relatives of the servicewoman and asked members of the public and the media not to make premature conclusions about the causes and circumstances of her death.

The Ministry of Health also expressed sincere condolences to the family and relatives of the deceased. They also noted that "according to preliminary information from the Military Medical Clinical Center of the Southern Region, the death was due to acute circulatory disorders. The woman had chronic cardiovascular diseases and other comorbidities."

The Ministry of Health notes that on the same day nine more people were vaccinated from a vial of the vaccine, and none of them had any complications, the Ministry of Health insists.

It's currently known that the forensic examination is scheduled for March 24. Its results will be reported by the Armed Forces.
