New mutations of "British" coronavirus strain discovered in Ukraine
New mutations in the "British" strain of coronavirus have been detected in Ukraine.
The Ministry of Health reports.
The combination of modified strains, according to researchers at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Genetics, has caused the current wave of the epidemic.
It's also the explanation for the increased detection of re-infection of people and the more severe course of the disease.
The obtained data have already been registered in the international database GISAID, transferred to the WHO and the National Security and Defense Council.
WHO representatives agreed with the findings of scientists and warned about the emergence of other, even more, dangerous strains, which began to be recorded in neighboring European countries.
To recap, the Cabinet of Ministers has banned walking in parks and streets without masks in the "red" zones.
