In metro, a passenger's life saved thanks to a newly installed defibrillator
In the Kyiv metro, on March 22, an employee used a defibrillator recently installed at the Palace of Sports station and saved the passenger's life.
The project manager of the "Hospital Needs Base — DonorUA AID" Khrystyna Yarmolina announced this.
So, the man was taken in the morning to the admission department of the cardiology building of the Oleksandrivska Clinical Hospital in Kyiv after successful resuscitation.
"Read it again and realize. A saved life! 56-year-old man. At the Kyiv metro station. Using a defibrillator. In 10 hours from the moment, the patient is oriented in time, space, personality, without displays of neurologic deficit. What does it mean? Emergency care was provided in a timely and correct manner," Yarmolina emphasizes.
