Shipwreck off Romanian coast: rescued Ukrainian sailors arrived at Constanta port
179 Ukrainian sailors rescued from the sunken ship Volgo Balt have arrived in the port of Constanta (Romania) and are currently undergoing a medical examination.
Foreign Ministry spokesperson Oleh Nikolenko announced this on Twitter.
"Volgo Balt 179: Rescued Ukrainian sailors arrived at the port of Constanta. They're currently undergoing a medical examination. The condition of the citizen evacuated to the hospital yesterday is stable, there are no threats to her life," Nikolenko wrote.
He added that the Ambassador of Ukraine to Romania and the consuls were currently with the sailors and providing them with the necessary consular assistance.

To recap, in the morning on March 11, the Russian dry cargo ship with the Ukrainian crew sank off the coast of Romania. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine confirmed the death of two people, ten crew members were rescued. The search for another continues. Romania sent a helicopter after a critically injured Ukrainian woman.
