Liashko explains how the international certificate on covid vaccination will be issued in Ukraine

Ukrainians will be able to obtain a free international certificate of COVID-19 vaccination for crossing the border if other countries introduce such a requirement.

The Chief Sanitary Doctor, Deputy Minister of Health Viktor Liashko stated this, "Slovo I Dilo" reports.

According to him, the certificate will be issued for free after two injections of the vaccine.

"There are international health rules; there's an appendix number six to these rules, which clearly prescribes the form and requirements for an international certificate of vaccination. And so far we're not implementing any other passports," he said.

To recap, in Ukraine, the Ministry of Digitization together with the Ministry of Health developed the digital system through which it's possible to confirm the fact of vaccination. By signing up for a free COVID vaccination through this system, Ukrainians will be able to further obtain a vaccination passport if it's introduced in the world.
