President Volodymyr Zelenskyi is certain that the language issue in Ukraine is out of date, the Ukrainian language is fully protected.

Those who currently raise issues of language, religion, or nationality are working to divide society, as the head of state said during a conversation with journalists from several TV channels within the All-Ukrainian Forum "Ukraine 30. Culture. Media. Tourism."

"Everything is clearly written in the Constitution: one and the only state language is Ukrainian. All those raising the issues of nationality, language, the church are all people who want to hype with great consequences for many people, unfortunately. All these consequences are aimed at dividing society, I'm sure of that. Therefore, I believe that the language issue isn't on time. I believe that the Ukrainian language is completely protected," Zelenskyi said.

At the same time, he expressed the opinion that "everyone in Ukraine should be comfortable, Ukraine should be very liberal" in the language issue as well.

"We need to respect the Ukrainian language, but we also need to respect everyone," the president said.

He added that if deputies didn't like a certain law, if they see injustice in this issue, then, according to him, it was normal to talk about it.

The head of state is certain that they need a dialogue with society first on all complex issues.
