Slovak Foreign Ministry apologizes to Ukraine for Prime Minister's joke about Zakarpattia

Slovak Foreign Minister Ivan Korčok apologizes to his Ukrainian counterpart for Prime Minister Matovič's joke that he promised Russia Ukrainian Zakarpattia for the Sputnik V vaccine.

As Rubryka reports, Ivan Korčok wrote about it on his Facebook page.

"Today I spoke with my Ukrainian partner, Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba. I apologized to him for the inappropriate statements of the Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic, Igor Matovič, to Ukraine. I'm even more sorry that just a few days ago, we talked extremely well in Kyiv about how to further develop our relations," Korčok wrote.

To recap, yesterday the Slovak prime minister joked Zakarpattia had been promised for the Russian vaccine.
