Chief State Sanitary Doctor Viktor Liashko stated this at a briefing.
"Since the beginning of the campaign, on Wednesday and Thursday, 1,338 people have been vaccinated. Most vaccinations have been made in the Cherkasy region (170), which was one of the first to launch an immunoprophylaxis campaign," Liashko said.
Thus, on February 25, 1,179 people were vaccinated, of which 792 were men and 387 were women.
According to Liashko, the largest number of vaccinations was made in Cherkasy, Ternopil regions, and in Kyiv, 90 vaccinations each.
Besides, Liashko said that on February 25, they received 7 reports of adverse events after immunization.
"As of February 25, the first reports of adverse events after immunization were received, 7 such reports; they are all not serious; one report was registered in the Chernihiv region, 6 – in the Cherkasy region. These reports are received electronically by the State Expert Center.
Each case is analyzed, and I'd like everyone to take it seriously, but there's no need to disperse any information panic because it is provided by the manufacturer's instructions. We monitor all adverse events and pay attention to them. The campaign continues," Liashko said.
