Stoltenberg explained to Zelenskyi the condition to accelerate the movement to NATO

President Volodymyr Zelenskyi discussed with NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg topical issues related to implementing Ukraine's Euro-Atlantic course, including the reform of the Security Service of Ukraine.

During the conversation, Stoltenberg praised the progress on many issues and Ukraine's focus on continuing to reform the defense sector. In turn, Zelenskyi added Ukraine was ready to reform the anti-corruption sector and implement topical judicial reform.

"Jens Stoltenberg noted that the draft law on reforming the Security Service of Ukraine (draft law "On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine 'On the Security Service of Ukraine' to improve the structural and legal framework of the Security Service of Ukraine" – ed.), currently considered in parliament, will help accelerate the move to the Euro-Atlantic path," a statement on the website of the President's Office reads.

Zelenskyi also stressed the importance of intensifying political dialogue with NATO this year for the further development of Ukraine's relations with the alliance.
