People's Deputy Kozak files a lawsuit with Supreme Court to appeal NSDC sanctions

The Supreme Court has received a lawsuit filed by People's Deputy Taras Kozak (the OPZZH faction) against the decree of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi on implementing the decision of the National Security and Defense Council to impose personal sanctions against the People's Deputy.

On February 24, the Administrative Court of Cassation of the Supreme Court received a lawsuit to appeal the decree of the President of Ukraine "On the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of February 2, 2021 "On applying personal special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions)," which imposes sanctions to the plaintiff Taras Kozak.

To recap, President Volodymyr Zelenskyi imposed sanctions against Medvedchuk's colleague, Kozak, and his TV channels for 5 years. Zelenskyi called this decision difficult.

Also, the National Security and Defense Council blocked a company with 7 private planes, including Kozak's personal plane.

In response, OPZZH stated it was initiating impeachment proceedings against Zelenskyi.

On February 4, the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy sent an official letter to the YouTube administration to block the sanctioned TV channels.
