Reznikov states how much Donbas occupation losses cost Ukraine
Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine Oleksii Reznikov informs, citing expert data, that losses from the occupation of territories in Donetsk and Luhansk regions currently amount to UAH 375 billion without considering the value of assets.
He stated this during a public discussion of the draft National Economic Strategy-2030 on "Reintegration of the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine" in Kyiv.
"According to the calculations and expert opinions of the Center for Economic Strategies, the losses in Donetsk and Luhansk regions alone amount to UAH 375 billion, without considering the value of assets currently in the occupied territories," the minister said.
Besides, Reznikov added that the Vienna International Institute estimated that the cost of rebuilding the Donetsk and Luhansk regions would cost more than $21 billion.
