Liashko: Ministry of Health is ready to buy the vaccine from distributors to make free vaccinations
Chief State Sanitary Doctor Viktor Liashko stated that the Ministry of Health was ready to buy the COVID vaccine, which distributors would launch.
Viktor Liashko said this on the air of the "Right to Power" program on the 1+1 channel.
Commenting on the possibility of a coronavirus vaccine on the commercial market, he said:
"It'll appear, but not in the first stages. The state is doing everything possible to ensure that vaccination is exclusively free and voluntary. Even if distributors have such a product and they are ready to bring it to Ukraine. Contact the Ministry of Health, and we'll buy this vaccine," Liashko said.
According to a government-approved vaccination plan, vaccinations in the first phase will be given to hospital staff providing care for COVID-19 patients and members of mobile teams involved in vaccination.
