Zelenskyi acknowledges Ukraine isn't a priority among world countries receiving COVID vaccines
President Volodymyr Zelenskyi states Ukraine isn't a priority for countries receiving coronavirus vaccines.
He said this in an interview with Axios.
"There are some emotions about the global vaccination campaign," he said.
Zelenskyi stated Ukraine isn't an equal member of the EU or the world in terms of vaccination dates.
"Ukraine isn't an equal member of the European Union or the world in terms of vaccination dates… We aren't a priority among world countries receiving vaccines like everyone else. We have excellent relations with EU countries. I talked to their leaders, and they said they would help. Little by little, from their vaccine supplies. It'll be difficult to explain to their people, I understand. But they'll give it to us a little. It's very unpleasant to feel that you are standing with a begging bowl," Zelenskyi said.
