Kuleba launches UKRAINE.UA about modern Ukraine for foreigners

The Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba presented the website UKRAINE.UA, a digital portal about modern Ukraine for foreign audiences.

The Foreign Ministry reports.

"We created the UKRAINE.UA website so that the world could learn about real Ukraine: creative, dynamic, innovative. A country of diversity and enchanting nature. A country of freedom and dignity. A country where millennial history and culture are complemented by an ambitious vision of the future," the minister said.

Leading specialists and specialized agencies were involved in the project's creation, and it'll remain open to collaboration and development even after launch.

"In particular, the website features the "Ukraine" photo bank, which I announced in the summer. Then many photographers responded to my call, whose wonderful works we later included in the collection. The photos can be freely used for non-commercial purposes to promote Ukraine abroad," the minister said.
Kuleba added that the key drivers of the project were the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ukrainian Institute, and its purpose is to form a positive image of Ukraine abroad.

According to the Foreign Minister, currently, the English version of the website is working, and in 2021, they plan to launch French, German, Spanish, Arabic, and Chinese language versions.

"Foreigners will get acquainted with Ukraine online, take an interest in it and later visit, invest or come to study in our country," Foreign Minister added.

Finally, Kuleba urged everyone who had ideas on how to improve the website, wanted to send photos to a photo bank or share their impressions of the project, use the e-mail address, [email protected]
