Ukrzaliznytsia launches chatbot in Viber and Telegram, where you can buy tickets

On January 12, Ukrzaliznytsia launched a chatbot on Viber and Telegram with the functions of selling tickets, ordering food during the trip, displaying the schedule, returning purchased tickets, informing about arrival, delays, track number, etc.

Ukrzaliznytsia and Minister of Infrastructure Vladyslav Kryklii reports.

The bot speaks three languages, i.e. Ukrainian, English, and Russian, and provides feedback capability besides background information.

Paying for tickets can be made directly in the bot. To do it, you can connect a payment card to an electronic wallet, and use Google Pay, Apple Pay, and Viber Chatbot Payments.

The project was implemented jointly with the technology partner of Visa and Ukrzaliznytsia, Middleware Inc. (USA), based on Corezoid Hyperautomation Engine technology. For the first time in the world, Middleware has integrated chatbot payment technology into the messenger using Visa tokens. The technology of using tokens makes payments even more secure and simple in the chatbot, UZ writes.

Tickets for Intercity + high-speed trains and their timetables are currently available for booking on the service.

You can test the chatbot by going through the links https://vb.me/ukr_railway or https://t.me/Ukrzaliznytsia_Tickets_Bot.
