Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov hopes that COVID-19 vaccination  will begin in our country in February.

He announced this at a briefing.

"I'd like to emphasize that all the quarantine restrictions currently being imposed were imposed after finding the maximum balance between the epidemiological situation and the country's work, considering the views of business and society. But this is the measure we need to defeat COVID-19. It's very important that we approach the beginning of immunization, i.e. COVID-19 vaccination, which, I hope, will begin in February, with the minimum possible figures for COVID-19 incidence," Stepanov said.

He called on Ukrainians to adhere to anti-epidemic measures during the 16 days set aside.

"And we'll see completely different figures (COVID-19 incidence – ed.) on the way out of this strict quarantine," the minister said.
