"Voice" demands to lift the ban on selling non-foods during January lockdown

The Voice party is demanding that the Cabinet lift restrictions on the sale of non-food items during the January lockdown and reconsider the need to ease it if the current trend of declining coronavirus incidence is confirmed.

"The Voice Party demands that the government end the practice of unjustified bans and immediately lift restrictions on the sale of non-food items during the January lockdown," the political force's website quotes the Voice party leader Kira Rudyk.

At the same time, Rudyk stressed the need to increase the number of COVID-19 virus tests for a realistic assessment of the coronavirus infection situation.

"If the current trend of the decreasing incidence is confirmed, it's advisable to consider an unscheduled weakening or complete abolition of quarantine," Rudyk said.
