In January, a meeting of advisers to Normandy 4 leaders may take place - Yermak

Work in the "Norman format" is ongoing, and a meeting of advisers to the heads of Normandy 4 state (Ukraine, Germany, France, Russia) may take place in January next year.

The Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andrii Yermak, stated.

"A meeting of advisers to the heads of Normandy 4 states may take place in January 2021," Yermak said in an interview with reporters on Monday.

He stressed that "work in the "Norman format" doesn't stop for a day."

Yermak also said that demining work on 19 agreed sites in Donbas would begin early next year.

The head of the OPU also stressed that "four disengagement zones in Donbas have been agreed upon."

Speaking about the security situation in Donbas, Yermak stressed that "far more people die from the coronavirus than from hostilities."

He also noted that this year 2,000 entrants from some districts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions entered Ukrainian universities.
