Government allows restaurants to run until 7 a.m. on New Year's Eve
Restaurants and cafes will be open until 7 a.m. on New Year's Eve from 31 to 1 January.
A December 23 government decree stated.
"To amend clause 2 of the Degree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of December 9, 2020, replacing the figure and the words "until 1 o'clock" with the number and words "until 7 o'clock" in sub-item 12," the document reads.
On December 9, the Cabinet of Ministers extended the current quarantine restrictions and the state of emergency until February 28. On New Year's Eve, it was previously assumed that catering establishments would be able to work only until 1 o'clock at night.
