Zelenskyi tops rating of trust in politicians, but 65% of respondents aren't satisfied with his activity
The trust rating among national politicians is topped by President Volodymyr Zelenskyi, whom 41% trust and 56% don't trust.
This is evidenced by the results of a survey by the "Rating" sociological group.
30% of respondents trust Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klychko, 58% don't trust him; 29% trust former Prime Minister Volodymyr Groisman, 61% don't trust him; 27% trust and 30% don't trust the Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada Dmytro Razumkov, another 27% don't know him.
Incumbent Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal is trusted by 16%, a quarter doesn't know him and more than half don't trust him.
Ex-president, leader of "European Solidarity" Petro Poroshenko is trusted by 23%, not trusted by 74%.
Batkivshchyna leader Yulia Tymoshenko is trusted by 25%, not trusted by 73%; 24% of respondents trust co-chair of the Opposition Platform — For Life, Yurii Boyko, 55% don't trust him, another 17% don't know him.
19% trust Viktor Medvedchuk, the chairperson of the Opposition Platform — For Life party, 66% don't trust him, and another 12% don't know him.
32% of respondents are satisfied with President Zelenskyi's activity, 65% are dissatisfied. 30% are satisfied with the work of Speaker Razumkov, 51% are dissatisfied, 19% couldn't evaluate. 16% are satisfied with the activities of Prime Minister, 65% are dissatisfied, and 18% couldn't evaluate.
Citizens are the least satisfied with the work of the government and parliament. Almost 80% gave negative assessments, and only about 12% gave positive ones.
The poll also showed that respondents didn't support (58%) rather than supported (39%) the idea of the president's resignation and calling early presidential elections.
On the other hand, the idea of dissolving parliament and early re-election is more supported (58%) than not supported (39%). The initiative of the government resigning is supported by 60% of respondents, 35% don't support it.
The survey was conducted on December 16-20 among the population of Ukraine over the age of 18 in all regions, except for the temporarily occupied territories of Crimea and Donbas. The selection is representative of age, sex, and type of settlement. 2000 respondents were interviewed face-to-face.
