Ukraine ranks 30th in Europe with a COVID-19 mortality level.
Health Minister Maksym Stepanov announced this at a briefing.
"Today, Ukraine ranks 30th in Europe in terms of COVID-19 mortality. It's 387 people per 1 million population. In Poland, this indicator is 682 people, in France, 932, in the UK, 1004 people per 1 million population," Stepanov said.
According to him, such an indicator in Ukraine became possible thanks to the Ukrainian COVID-19 treatment protocol.
Stepanov informed that in Ukraine, a COVID-19 treatment package was operating, which covers medicines, salaries of medical workers, 300% of surcharges to medical workers who treat patients with coronavirus. Ukraine also buys additional medicines, including remdesevir.
