Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal states that Ukraine's inclusion in the TOP-30 Doing Business rating is one of the key tasks for the government.
He said this at the first annual international conference organized by UkraineInvest.
"For us, the priority remains to bring the business climate to the best world standards. I've already emphasized that we have an ambitious goal to get into the top 30 Doing Business rankings soon. To our mind, working to ensure distinct and transparent rules of the game in the market is a critical step for investors to feel confident and secure in Ukraine," Shmyhal stressed.
The Doing Business 2020 rating showed that Ukraine reached 64th place in the investment attractiveness rating, adding 48 positions over the last five years.
The Doing Business Ease of Doing Business Index is compiled by the World Bank based on country-specific annual data to compare the ease of doing business.
