"Put on masks and wear without removing them! We've nowhere to put patients": Todurov addressed Ukrainians

Coronavirus in Ukraine is increasingly affecting young people. Many of them are in critical condition in the hospital. The situation is tough, and patients with COVID-19 have nowhere to go.

The director of the Heart Institute, honored doctor of Ukraine Borys Todurov stated it on the air of one of TV channels, TSN reports.

"Unfortunately, everyone gets ill today. We have a lot of young patients in critical condition. Among these young patients, several have already died in the walls of our clinic, where we have super specialists," Todurov said.

The doctor urged Ukrainians to follow the quarantine rules strictly and wear masks.

"Don't put yourself at extra risk, wear these damn masks if you go outside. Wash your hands, don't go to any public places. You put yourself at deadly risk," Todurov said.

"If you get sick and you have complications, you'll be put nowhere. It's no joke. They bury people in plastic bags without a memorial service now. It happens at every step. You just don't see all the drama of this situation," Todurov added.

The doctor also urged not to approach people without a mask.

"Don't remove the mask in a public place, especially in transport. If it's possible to avoid the subway and transport, where there are many people, don't go there," the doctor says.
