Kravchuk stated that “Normandy” advisers’ video meeting will show if there’ll be a summit this year

The head of the Ukrainian delegation in the TCG on Donbas, Leonid Kravchuk, stated this in an interview with TSN.

"It (Joint Action Plan) is a prerequisite (of Zelenskyi and Putin meeting – ed.). And the plan itself has a broader task: ensuring peace in Donbas. It's a global task for us. The list of tasks being solved on the way to our big goal includes holding a meeting in Berlin at the highest level," Kravchuk said.

In this context, he noted that a video conference of political advisers to the leaders of the "Normandy 4" is to take place on November 13.

"I think, at this meeting, we'll finally have a decision whether there'll be a summit this year. By proposing the plan, Ukraine opens the way for such a meeting to happen. But will our opponents want the same… I called them softly so, but in fact, our opponent is one aggressor, Russia. Will they want to support the ideology this time? I think it's time for them to want it," the head of the Ukrainian delegation in the TCG said.

In his opinion, the situation in Russia today is "not so brilliant" to dictate conditions to many countries, including Ukraine, and not to make any concessions.

"Look, the newly elected US President Joe Biden named Ukraine among the flashpoints twice in a conversation with European leaders. I don't remember such a thing during the time I was in office. I think it's a good sign. Europe, the United States, and all the civilized world see that in this case, it's not just a small dot on the map. It is a flame in the center of Europe, which can become a catastrophe. We cannot allow this," Kravchuk stressed.
