Sadovyi stated that Lviv refuses to comply with weekend quarantine
Lviv Mayor Andrii Sadovyi stated that Lviv refuses to comply with the weekend quarantine.
He stated this before the Cabinet decided on it, NV reports.
"Let's impose the lunch break quarantine? In my opinion, it's nonsense… The city will not make any stupid decisions," he said, adding that "Lviv is our city."
"The authorities come and go, and Lviv was, is, and will be… I ask you to understand our tough situation. We must make a commitment: no anniversaries, no banquets, no weddings. But if a person goes to a cafe with two-three tables and has a cup of coffee, what kind of lockdown can we talk about?" he said.
To recap, the government has introduced a weekend quarantine in Ukraine for three weeks.
