The Lviv City Council is preparing a lawsuit against the November 11 decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to impose a weekend quarantine in Ukraine.

The mayor of Lviv Andrii Sadovyi reported about it on his Facebook page.

"Lviv City Council is preparing a lawsuit against the Cabinet of Ministers' decision on weekend quarantine. We are waiting for the full text of the government resolution because it doesn't exist yet. I have already said it and will repeat it again. It seems that officials pass important decisions first, and then they begin analyzing what they've done," the mayor wrote.

He also noted that over the weekend, service facilities receive about 40% of their weekly income, and it's "a cash that feeds thousands of families."

"Who will compensate for these losses? We'll announce the next steps when there are details of the government's decision. Take care of yourself and your loved ones!" the mayor of Lviv added.
