The results of the economy's audit and the vectors of economic growth developed by the government should become the basis for creating the National Economic Strategy of Ukraine until 2030.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyi stated this during a speech at the presentation of the country's economic audit.

"Based on the audit and vectors, we are waiting for the National Economic Strategy until 2030. I know that the government has already started to work actively on this, involving many experts, business representatives, the public, international analysts, and specialists," the President said.

According to him, the strategy should not become a non-binding declaration, but a master plan and a roadmap for all branches of government in Ukraine.

Zelenskyi stressed that citizens should widely approve the strategy, and it has to be a kind of "economic Constitution of Ukraine, our great national idea."

"It's time to end the tradition when public policy is determined not by common values, but by names on the doors of government offices. With each new president, parliament, or government, the country invents a new breakthrough. It's time for a new tradition: names of civil servants and officials can and will change, but the vision, philosophy, and global goal of the country are unchanged," the head of state is certain.

Meanwhile, he noted that the audit of the Ukrainian economy results from hard and painstaking work. Zelenskyi reminded that first, a comprehensive analysis of the condition of Ukraine was carried out, "to understand exactly where and what mistakes were made during these years."

"The audit is an analysis of our complexes, which frightened and restrained our progress. All of them need to go into the past," the president added.

He also said that based on the results of the audit, the government presents the main vectors of development of the Ukrainian economy until 2030, which will allow understanding clearly "where and why Ukraine's economy will move."
