"Officials people trusted are disappearing": Lithuanian Foreign Minister comments on personnel policy in Ukraine

The international community sees people who the world has had confidence in, leaving power in Ukraine.

Lithuanian Foreign Minister Linas Linkevičius stated this in an interview with EP.

"I'm talking about the impression that not only I am falling under, but the entire international community. Because those who follow Ukraine closely see officials they trusted disappearing. Let every dismissal really have its reasons, but I feel that it's a general approach," he said.

The Minister added that it's no secret that there is such a phenomenon as "fatigue from Ukraine."

"Expectations cannot last forever. There are voices: "Look, nothing is happening there, there is no change." We are certainly trying to answer that it's not the case, that there's change. But you can't just ignore the problems," Linkevičius noted.
