Ukraine and China agreed on a space cooperation program for more than $70 million
Ukraine and China have signed a five-year program of space cooperation.
The press service of the State Space Agency of Ukraine reports.
"The meeting resulted in signing a program of Ukrainian-Chinese space cooperation for 2021-2025, which comprises 69 joint projects for more than $70 million," the statement said.
On October 2, a meeting of the Ukrainian-Chinese subcommittee on space cooperation of the Commission on Cooperation between the Governments of Ukraine and the People's Republic of China took place.
The parties signed an agreement on establishing a joint space science laboratory.
Ukraine and China also agreed to strengthen the exchange of information on space activities of the two countries and timely inform each other about the status of implementing the cooperation program, to address issues arising in the program's implementation to ensure its fulfillment.
