Ukraine stated in OSCE that Russia had been blocking the Minsk talks for three months
Russia has been blocking the work of the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) in Minsk for three months. The Russians are preventing the issues on the agenda from considering.
The permanent representative of Ukraine in international organizations in Vienna, Yevhen Tsymbaliuk, stated this during a meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council.
"The Russian party has been blocking the TCG's political working group for almost three months, preventing any discussion of practical issues on its agenda and impeding the implementation of the relevant provisions of the Overall agreed conclusions of the Paris Summit in the Normandy format in 2019," Tsymbaliuk said.
He also stressed that the OSCE monitoring recorded violations by the militants in arms withdrawal.
"Over the past two weeks, the Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) has reported the detection of 95 weapons stationed in violation of withdrawal lines. 89 of them are in the Russian-occupied areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine," the diplomat said.
To recap, today Zelenskyi began a working trip to the Donetsk region.
