First European integration regional office in Ukraine opened in Kherson
The first European integration regional office in Ukraine opened in Kherson on Thursday, October 15.
Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Olha Stefanyshyna announced it.
"We have opened the first regional office of European integration in Kherson. It's a good start and example for decentralizing Ukraine's EU integration processes," Stefanyshyna wrote on Twitter.
Following the example of the Kherson region, several more regions of Ukraine will open regional offices, she added.
Plans to open the office became known at the end of last year.
