Ukrposhta is in the TOP-30 best post services in the world
"Ukrposhta" entered the Postal Development Index 2019 ranking of the top 30 post office services in the world (out of 170) for the first time. The first three places in the ranking are Switzerland, Austria, and Germany.
The Head of the State company Ihor Smilianskyi reports.
"..We are just starting to build the infrastructure, but even the current results give us the opportunity to get closer to the group of leaders… We didn't have enough to enter the list of Global Postal Champions (requires 60 points, and we have 58.64).
But I am sure that we will take our place among the leaders after constructing new sorting centers and adopting the law 2788-d on the bank," Smilianskyi wrote.
Next to Ukraine are Lithuania and Hungary (31st and 32nd place), and Serbia and Finland (29th and 28th).
The countries Ukraine borders with are in the following order: Poland (13th place), Russia (19th), Belarus (20th), Slovakia (21st), Moldova (26th), Romania (44th).
The Head of "Ukrposhta" mentioned 4 components making up a rating:
- Reliability – the quality of delivery
- Reach – the number of direct international connections. "We look good here, although, given direct flights' reduction, it's tough to hold the position," Smilianskyi said.
- Relevance – product line, number, and availability of post offices
- Resilience (to external and internal shocks) – revenue diversification, development of financial and banking services, etc.
