One of the most famous museums in Great Britain, the Tower of London, will soon have an audio guide in Ukrainian.

The wife of the President of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska announced this on Facebook.

"Almost all museums in the world, except for the original language, usually speak English. One of the most famous English museums, the Tower of London, will soon speak Ukrainian! Today we signed a memorandum with the Historic Royal Palaces Administration on the creation of the first Ukrainian audio-guide," Zelenska wrote.

According to the Office of the President, Olena Zelenska visited the Tower of London Museum, where a Memorandum was signed on her initiative, during the official visit of the Ukrainian President to the United Kingdom.

Under the memorandum provisions, Historic Royal Palaces (London) supports the initiative of the First Lady and undertakes to introduce a Ukrainian-language audio-guide in one of the most prominent places not only in Britain but also in the world, the Tower of London.

The OP stresses that a separate important agreement is the willingness of British partners to continue to cooperate with Ukraine and to spread the practice of introducing audio guides in Ukrainian in other museums and historic royal palaces of the country.

"For Ukraine and for me, Ukrainian audio-guides are not only about convenience and accessibility. It's about acceptance in the world, Ukrainian voice being heard in the Tower of London soon. I am sincerely grateful to everyone who supported my initiative and established the foundation for the Ukrainian language to be heard in one of the most outstanding places in the world," Olena Zelenska stressed.
