In Kyiv, Gulliver shopping mall illuminated in honor of Pride Month

The Gulliver shopping mall building in the center of Kyiv glows with the colors of the LGBT flag due to the Pride Month 2020.

The rainbow flag will be broadcast on Gulliver daily from October 5 to 11 from 18:30 to 22:00. KyivPride reported this on their Instagram page.

You can see colorful illumination and the KyivPride 2020 slogan "Be different is great together" every five minutes for 20 seconds from anywhere in the city center and its surrounding areas.

🏳️‍🌈 ТРЦ «Гулівер» протягом тижня світитиметься прайд-прапором на честь ПрайдМісяця2020 у Києві. Щовечора з 5 по 11 жовтня о 18:30 та до 22:00 кожні 5 хвилин український Емпайр-Стейт-Білдінг протягом 20 секунд транслюватиме прайд-прапор разом зі слоганом КиївПрайд2020 «Бути різними добре разом», аби привернути увагу суспільства до теми видимості та прийняття ЛГБТ+. The event's purpose is to draw attention to the acceptance and visibility of LGBT +.

"The event is timed to the week ending with the World Coming Out Day, a day of courage to declare their sexual orientation and gender identity," KyivPride reports.

Pride Month takes place in Kyiv from September 26 to October 11.
