Demonstration for protecting animals took place on Independence Square in Kyiv

Today, on October 4, the demonstration "Stand up and protect animals!" dedicated to the World Animal Day took place on Independence Square in Kyiv.
Thus, the first demand of activists is to adopt the draft law 2360 banning skinning in Ukraine.
Animal rights activists also demand to ban hunting, animals in circuses, dolphinariums, and contact zoos at the level of the law; stop testing and experiments on animals.
Activists highlight the need to address the problem of stray animals: sterilizing and adopting instead of euthanasia and creating local municipal animal rescue services.
Among the demands of the demonstration, there was also reinforcing the protection of farm animals.
