Kyiv is the first in Europe and the eighth in the world in the number of skyscrapers
Kyiv took 8th place in the world ranking of cities with the largest number of skyscrapers.

The resource informs that there are 1222 buildings built higher than 35 meters (12 floors) in Kyiv.
It's more than in cities such as London (1,109), Moscow (571), Los Angeles (643), or Vancouver (933).
Kharkiv is in the ranking as 26th, with 435 skyscrapers total, which is more than in Istanbul (396) or Berlin (412).
New York takes first place in the ranking (6,097 skyscrapers). The second is Toronto (2,393), followed by Dubai (1,574).
Kyiv has the largest number of skyscrapers in Europe, although its official population is less than three million. It's three times less than in London.
